High Efficiency Organic Cationic Polymer for Water Based Ink Wastewater Treatment Color Removal COD Reduction and Coagulation Applications
BWD-01 Dicyandiamide Based Decolorizer Decolourant is a high efficiency organic cationic polymer specially developed for printing ink wastewater treatment industrial wastewater decolorization COD reduction and coagulation applications.
The product is widely used for treating water based ink wastewater pigment wastewater textile dyeing wastewater paper mill wastewater and other high color industrial effluents.
Printing ink wastewater often contains fine pigment particles resin compounds organic dyes emulsified substances and suspended solids that are difficult to remove through conventional inorganic coagulants alone.
BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent is designed to rapidly destabilize color substances and improve flocculation efficiency helping wastewater treatment systems achieve clearer effluent and lower sludge generation.

Printing ink wastewater usually contains:
Compared with normal industrial wastewater ink wastewater often has:
Traditional coagulants may not effectively remove dissolved color and fine particles especially in wastewater containing water based printing inks.
Without effective pretreatment wastewater treatment systems may experience unstable discharge quality and excessive sludge production.
BWD-01 works through strong cationic charge neutralization and polymer flocculation mechanisms.
The product rapidly reacts with negatively charged pigment particles dyes and colloids in wastewater helping destabilize color substances and improve coagulation performance.
Compared with traditional inorganic coagulants BWD-01 provides stronger color removal capability and more stable clarification performance for printing ink wastewater systems.
For difficult wastewater conditions the product is commonly used together with PAC and PAM.
BWD-01 → PAC → PAM
Recommended Operating pH 7.5 to 8.0

The product effectively removes pigment color and improves wastewater clarification.
The product improves settling speed and coagulation efficiency.
The product effectively reduces soluble dye color and COD.
After dilution BWD-01 is dosed directly into wastewater.
The cationic polymer rapidly adsorbs negatively charged pigment particles and dyes helping form large and dense flocs.
The flocs are then removed through sedimentation or dissolved air flotation systems.
For wastewater with high COD or strong residual color PAC and PAM are commonly combined to improve treatment performance and sedimentation efficiency.
Jar testing is strongly recommended before full scale dosing.
A suitable decolorizer should provide:
BWD-01 helps optimize wastewater treatment efficiency while reducing operating costs.
55 percent solid content products help:
Suitable for export shipment and industrial bulk handling.
The product is non flammable and non explosive under normal industrial storage conditions.
Bluwat Chemicals has more than 25 years of manufacturing and export experience in industrial water treatment chemicals.
We help customers optimize wastewater clarification efficiency while reducing sludge disposal pressure and chemical consumption.
It is used for removing color COD pigments and suspended solids from industrial wastewater systems especially printing ink wastewater and textile wastewater.
Yes the product is widely used for water based ink wastewater treatment and pigment wastewater clarification.
Yes COD reduction efficiency can typically reach 50 percent to 80 percent depending on wastewater characteristics and treatment conditions.
Yes the recommended treatment sequence is BWD-01 → PAC → PAM.
This combination improves coagulation and sedimentation efficiency.
Yes jar testing is strongly recommended because wastewater composition varies between industries and treatment systems.
